Hello, my name is Jacob. I am a Veteran, Mechanical Engineer, and obsessed with all things 3D Modeling & Printing!

I purchased my first 3D printer mid 2020, and have since spent as much time as I've been able learning how to apply my 3D modeling skills to the 3D printing world! The major goals with all of my designs are 1) Easy to print, 2) Few to no supports, 3) Minimal post-processing, and 4) The fewer non-printed parts the better!

I see the Annoying Piggy Bank all over ETSY, but the downloads I see say for private use only, not for commercial use. Are you aware that people are using your file that way, and are you OK with that?

Hello, are you going to do THE ANNOYING GIFT BOX with 12 screws? That is, it is half the height, with 2 screws on each side. What about a small type 7 cm version?

Really Annoying Card Container v3.0

I bought this file and just printed box 6B. In the instructions it says to print all 25 files, I only have 5 files, including the instructions and then a separate folder for bolts and tools? Which files do i need to download?

I apologize, there may be a typo in those print instructions that I will need to update. There are more files in the v.2 and Base Set, which is what you would also print to get the full 666 bolts

There are multiple versions of the mid-body in there! Theres a blank one, and also one for each of the branches

Hi! I was wondering if there were any plans to make other Pokeball versions? I love your hinge design and think it would be amazing to have other pokeball variations that fit with it beyond the 5 that come in the original design

Probably not gonna be messing around with the pokeballs anymore in the future, i've been trying to stick to original designs and steer clear of IP stuff for a while now

Hi, I've just printed the 20 bolt annoying box

Having a few issues with the print, the brackets are quite fragile and so is the bow, I'm printing at 20% cubic infill

Is it better to go higher infill?

I would do an additional wall loop rather than adding more infill!

I definitely think i need to have a tweak, i printed the bolts in silk pla and they are all shearing off really easily

Silk will do that. On average its much weaker than normal PLA. I don't ever use silk for bolts. Just for the brackets/ribbon

I bought all the files for the annoying gift box. I been having trouble with the screws being printed more of an oval shape then circle shape. making it annoying for me to have to sad/cut down the screws one by one.

Sounds like a loose belt on your printer to me, or something off. The screws were modeled as circles, I'm sure you can see that they are circles in the slicer before printing. Might want to do some Googling/printer maintenance, probably be quicker than sanding/cutting down screws one by one

It prints perfectly 1 screw at a time, when I try multiples, it prints more oval shaped. Also, I rather not make new screws unless I can print multiples of them without the screws coming out oval shaped. I already printed about 600 screws. I have done maintenance on the 3d printer, and it still did the same thing when I tried to print more than 1 at a time. can't figure out why

hmmmm, i really wish I could help you out there but I haven't ever experienced that issue or heard of anyone having that problem. What printer are you using?
