I'm curious to how well these would work if printed using a resin printer.
It would work very well, printing the rose that says without rotation, I mean the one that does not have a bearing inside, if not it does have the branch that fits with the traditional pin that needs glue, that would be good to print in resin, it is the stl number 12 rose and 12 branch I recommend it...
Can you add a shell that has spikes? I'm make one for my sister and I think the blue turtle is her favorite. Maybe spikes could screw on? I dunno.
You should add "flexi" word in your tag for the Koopa thing. I usually type "Flexi" and search by date to see the new flexi thing but yours doesn't come up.

Ill just restated what someone else has. I purchased the alligator snapping turtle and printed it on 3 machines. I followed the instructions for the settings. When I put the ball and joint from the head/neck to the actual body, it is very very loose. Eventually it just falls out. I am going to try to size up the head to figure out whats going on
if you are new to 3D printing, I recommend using the model (5-a), (5 -b), (5 - c) ...... with parameters of: 3 walls - part thickness - 1.2 , layer height 0.2 to 0.16 - initial layer height 0.2 - line width 0.4, - padding 10 - 15 , gyroid padding distance 3.0 - print speed 40.0. speed of outer walls 20.0
NOTE: File stl - Snapping turtle head 1, if when printing it the tolerance of movement of the jaw is very hard, you can reduce the friction a bit, with the parameters of Wall: Horizontal expansion - (0.01 to 0.02)
I have been printing quite a while. There is nothing wrong with the jaw, it is the ball joint that connects the head to the body. The neck seems to be too long and the ball is too small. When I print the body & the head together, it doesn't fit. It just keeps falling out or it spins in circles, just super loose.
I even printed several additional heads at percentages in range of 5% of the original body and they still are either too big or too small for it to work.
Is it possible to make a model where the head is already connected and the jaw doesn't move?
I understand in terms of the sizes, the body and head are always the same size by default, so that the head pin matches, it always rolls because the model was made with rotation, as for making a model where the head comes together to the body, I can upload it to the platform in a few hours bro, blessings

Perfect, I will use this for now until I can figure out which settings I need to change for it to work with my prusa mini. Ah okay im noticing that it does roll a lot it was designed that way.
I guess the main problem im having is when I insert the head into the neck, it rolls, which is intentional. But it also falls out of the neck. So if I am playing with it or my kids is playing with it, then the head just pops off randomly. I really appreciate the fused body for now though!

Its strange people say the snapping turtle ball joint is too tight, when for me I bought it couple months ago maybe I have to redownload it, but too loose. I even made video about it. Also the ball joint shaped like a pp its funny. But the ball what I have seen needs to be bigger. I run prusa mk3s+ and print everything else perfect. Its not the settings. I have to size it up to 102% to make it work. Otherwise its loosing its head. Which head file is the one that has better ball joint?

The issue is not the jaw it is the ball joint in the neck. Reducing its size allowed me to print an actual working version rather than one with that ball fused to the neck.
