Thumb Splint/Protector

The close top version works great! I used some cotton batting inside and found it to be even more comfortable. The closed version was important to me because the back area of my thumb was extremely sensitive. I was accidentally bumping into things with my hand triggering a sharp pain.

The shell over top provided an additional guard to external elements. It was a welcome change compared to not wearing anything.

I used a hair dryer to gently heat up the plastic and better mold it to my thumb.

I wrapped my hand with a tensor bandage and wore it over night without any issue ( i toss around a lot in my sleep).

I have also used the holes at the bottom to tie and secure the piece to my hand.
