Make’s description

Lost PLA casting:
I needed a 1.2Kg weight, decided to go cute.
Scaled up the M24.stl to 116.6% and added a small base.
Printed in PLA at 0.8 walls and 10% infill.
Replaced the plastic hook with a steel one (large staple)
Inverted in metal can of casting plaster.
Once set, dried it out in kiln @ 150C then melted out PLA @ 350C
Poured lead and removed from plaster.
Some cracks had formed in the plaster giving a lot of fine flashings, but easy to remove.
