Makeβs description
The biggest pieces to print took around 17 hours, the smallest pieces took around 3 hours. In total it took me a couple of days to print all the pieces. I had to further cut and rearrange certain pieces in order to have them fit my smaller print bed but it all worked out in the end. I used the Flash Print software that came with my printer to slice the pieces. It was so great to work with a model that had clear assembly instructions, the pieces locked into place easily and feel super sturdy. After that, painting was a process of using Filler-Primer and wood filler to sand and make the seams invisible. I used a different color-scheme to suit my more Gryffindor style. And just added a small backstory to this by making it a "Phoenix Fire" edition of the Nimbus 2001 of which only 10 were made and was pulled from the market due to being too fast and dangerous for unskilled flyers.
