Harry Potter Chess

My sisters daughter is a huge Harry Potter fan. My sister bought and paid for the "Licensed" chess set, (you can see the cardboard chess board in this photo) She was not happy with the quality of the pieces. They were holllow and had no felt on the bottom. The "Licensed" chess set was NOT INEXSPENSIVE. She felt cheated. She wanted it to be a special gift for her daughter so she reached out to me to see if I could 3D print a set and make it heavier and more like a quality chess set. I found these files, showed my sister and she was overjoyed at the possibility I could do this, so I made them. She also asked that they be painted silver and gold, which I thought was heresy, losing all of that detail to paint! Well, my niece was just so excited when she got them for her birthday. NOTICE IN THE PHOTO, they have the original chess board 90-degrees out of whack and the queens and the bishops in the wrong spot, (White on the right and queen on her color) is what I was taught. Anyway, here it is on a licensed and sanctioned Harry Potter chess board. Thank you so much for designing these files.
