Makeโs description
Perfect printed 5.25 enclosure for an old 5.25 Floppy drive.
That will be used with the Drawbridge Floppycontroller to USB interface from Rob Smith (UK).
Only needed to scratch away some of the inside top filament on the left and right sides so the Floppy drive can slide with its cover plate entirely into the enclosure. Then also the 4 side screw holes are correct in position with the floppy drive screw positions. But they only fit when the drive is inserted in the one correct way possible.
I printed the enclosure in about 7 hours and 42 minutes in black PETG on my K1C printer.
(hotbed at 80 degrees Celsius with the B-Plate for Carbon and other filaments!)
For some strange reason the Creality Print program I use as slicer doesn't show the small pictures of the objects anymore like it did in the beginning. No idea why!? Creality always leaves so many questions open when something doesn't work the way in we expect it to work!
