Important!
Bot Plus One 2.0 is now available for download. Version 2.0 is compatible with Amazon Echo Dot 4th AND 5th Gen. Version 2.0 only has 8 parts (7 less parts than previous version) so less 3D printing time, less filament material, and easier to assemble!

This version of Bot Plus One is compatible with Amazon Echo Dot (4th Gen), Amazon Echo Dot with Clock, and Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition. Bot Plus One with Amazon Echo Dot is 8 inches (203.2 mm) tall.

Bot Plus One is NOT a toy.

10/25/20 - "Body v2.STL" has been uploaded. I recently purchased the Echo Dot (4th Gen), took key measurements, and modified the part accordingly.

3D printing settings

Updates:

10/25/20 - I'm currently printing all the parts on my Creality Ender 3 using Cura slicer with 0.4mm nozzle. Below are my print settings:

  • Hatchbox PLA (1.75mm)
  • 0.28mm layer height
  • 20% infill
  • 50 mm/s print speed
  • Recommend to use brim (build plate adhesion) on all parts except the 'Connectors'.
  • Recommend to use support on 'Body' part.

Assembly requires gluing.
