3D model description

This is Gazebo Bird feeder is designed for small birds. Of course it is inspired by garden houses and Gazebos.
It has a container in the middle that can be filled with bird seed. The seed comes out trough six holes at the bottom.
It can be filled at the bottom. The pointy spike on the bottom is a lid that gives excess to the internal container.

I have tested this model with an FDM Printer and a 0.4mm Nozzle with (mostly) PLA filament.

The size is 287.4mm high and 163mm wide

To assemble this Bird Feeder, it is the easiest to begin with the floor part (vloer PRINT SUPPORT.stl). Stick the Pillars (pilaar L.stl & pilaarR.stl) and the Entrances (ingang.stl) in first. Then place the cylinder (buis VASE MODE.stl). Then finish in by placing the roof part (dak.stl).
I just glued the parts together with Super Glue.

Note: Do not glue the lid (deksel VASE MODE.stl) on the bottom.

I also included 3d files wherein the separate parts are assembled. They are named “Garden House Bird Feeder total assembly”.

Of course, feel free to ask any questions :-)

3D printing settings

Please note:

File “buis VASE MODE.stl” must be printed using the “Spiral Outer Contour mode” or “Vase Mode”.Do not forget to set the bottom layers on 0. If you do not want to use the VASE MODE, then you also can set your print setting on: 0% infill, 1 Wall line & 0 Top/Bottom layers. I used translucent PET-G for this part. This way you can see the seed inside.

Files “deksel PRINT SUPPORT.stl” & “ vloer PRINT SUPPORT.stl” must be printed using print support.

With the print settings: 0.2mm resolution, 3 wall lines, 4 Top /Bottom layers, 15% infill & support material with 10% support density, you need about 333 gram of Filament. I used PLA. It took me around 34 hours to print.
