The MiG-15UTI first flew in 1949, and is the two-seat trainer version of the single-seat MiG-15 fighter. Ultimately, this aircraft became one of the world's most produced jet aircraft.
If you wish to build the single-seat MiG-15bis, you may download our 3-piece conversion kit which can be combined with the parts in this download. The MiG-15bis single-seat conversion kit is here:

EDIT:
12 September 2025
Two additional .stl files have been added to the download (aileron_L.stl and elevator_L.stl) which are single control surfaces for those builders who do not wish to use the joined control surfaces in the download which print L&R surfaces at the one time. For the RHS control surfaces simply mirror in the slicer. Print using the same basic settings as the joined parts using 8-10 bottom layers to ensure the control horn is printed as a solid.
EDIT:
27 July 2024
- The centre of gravity can be safely moved up to 10mm behind the position shown in the manual. So the CG range is from the front of the outboard wing fence to 10mm rearwards.
11 October 2023
- For those who are not able to use the G-codes directly, a new .3mf file for part F3 has been added (F3_V2_3mf.3mf). This has revised geometry which should slice correctly in all versions of Prusa and also the Cura slicer.
*Incorrect model flight weight is shown in the manual (721g is the correct figure). The manual will be updated in the next cycle.
9 October 2023
- Added bungee hook for use on either the MiG-15UTI or MiG-15bis.
(bungee hook_3mf and bungee hook_gcode)
01 October 2023
- Added g-code and 3mf files for all wing and tailplane parts so that it is no longer necessary to mirror parts in the Prusa slicer.
10 September 2023
- Added Printing and Assembly Guide version 1.1 (new information and some typographical corrections)
- Replaced F4 files with F4_v2 which added minor cosmetic changes to simulated airbrakes and fin/tailplane junction. No impact on model if previous version of these files used in lieu.
