Did you 3D print this model?

3D model description

Description
A friend challenged me to design a more functional Mccree Peacekeeper prop. So the barrel rotates and pivots out of the gun housing. Bullets are removable.

Was previous available for unpay but in an effort to cover some of the costs of designing these objects I'm asking for a small fee.
Thanks!

Please enjoy!!

All the files should be here to print. The orientations aren't the correct for printing by default, so you will have to rotate the models to your preferred orientation. Most are pretty easy to figure out your orientations. I print the top part of the barrel on the tip straight up because my print bed wasnt large enough to fit it laying flat.

Support is only required for the star base and the hammer mount.

I printed everything at 0.15mm layer height in PLA.

Overall model is about ~12" in length fully assembled.

Parts needed:

1 of each part exept the cylinder inlays which 6 is needed.

1x F623zz bearing

1x M3x25mm

1x M3 nut

1x M3x10mm (lever pivot) use washers if needed

1x M3x~8 (may need to be tweaked) this is the stop for the lever so it doesnt open all the way

1x pen spring (for hammer)

3D printing settings

Everything was printed at 0.15mm layer height

@MarkB1119 I picked them up on AliExpress I believe but f623zz is a standardized size so I doubt they are larger unless you were sent wrong ones accidentally. If you measure the bearings I believe they should be 10mm nominal on the bearing surface below the flange. Flange is about 11.5mm in diameter. It’s more likely your printer undersized the hole. Most printers tend to underside inside diameters like that and every printer is different so the hole may have just printed a bit tight. In a pinch a nice trick is to use a soldering iron to press the bearing in as it will melt the filament just enough to get it to fit in right.

Can u let me know where u purchased the bearing? I bought the f623zz bearing and the hole in the middle seems too wide and this bearing will not fit into the middle of the drum. Maybe I have a larger size?

@Cironee it is around ~12” in length fully assembled

Hi, I purchased your model but I wanna know the total size of the gun, my hand is small and I wanna ale it.

@Eiphos it is around ~12” in length top to tip fully assembled.

Hello i just purchase your model, what is the total size of the gun please ?

Thanks, that makes perfect sense! My bearings haven't arrived yet, now I get it :)

@grahame The M3 nut holds the bearing on to the pivot arm. Then the bearing snaps into the cylinder. I added a picture to this page that shows the assembly. Thanks for purchasing. I’m glad you like it, it was a fun build.

Hey, I'm finally getting to put this together - how does the cylinder go together with the swing-arm? You mention 10mm, 8mm and 25mm m3 screws. I figured out the 10 is the arm pivot and the 8 is the stop, so I assume the 25 goes through the middle but where is the m3 nut used?

Thanks, everything else is looking great!

I was going to make a video for the assembly but I believe someone in the community already has here’s the link: (it seems it is more just a time lapse. I have a video of me assembling it so will have to edit it together to post but here is the time lapse for now. https://youtu.be/AXHGOzUM7aA

I've purchased and printed this model. Could you provide some more details on how to assemble the crane and cylinder with the bearing?
