Could you please seperate the models so that I can print the ones I want. Thanks.
Also when I open the demonicragewildriders.slicertested.obj in chitubox the file is corrupted.
There is also a subfolder of the same name which is empty.

sorry about the delay. I have been away from the shop due to being briefly abroad. I'm sorry to find that you have been left less than satisfied by our products. I will have a look at the files you mentioned immediately, make fixes and seperate the models as you suggest, making improvements where necessary. I'll get back to you in an hour to keep you up to date with my progress

I've uploaded a single example of a single model wildrider champion. it seems to work both on the anycubic slicer and the famously finicky cults viewer. while i did make some token improvements it maybe that pressing all the models into a single file may have have disagreed with your slicer or it may be that one of the models in the batch has some kind of imperfection or hollow space that requires fixing. I will continue uploading each model singly and fix any that need it. I have, also, intended to update all the spider mech type models (giving them a more modern, rounded, look) in our shop so I will take the opportunity of your complaint to do so here . let me know if you have any problems uploading the new file I added in the meantime to make sure all is well. RM

corrections and improvements to the set you specified are now complete. as stated, your complaint gave me opportunity to add the improved spider rider model which I hope you agree is an improvement on the old. let me know if you experience any problems with these new files so that further attention can be paid to them. RF

Hello, I bought the "mixed lesser war-walker set " set. thank you for your effort.
However, there are a lot of manifold error (missing sections) (non-solid areas) and the models cant be repaired.
can you advise please?

Thank you for the heads up. I'll take a look at the files, run them through a slicer and make repairs. replacements should be up by tomorrow night. rf

I have added stl. versions of the files as stls often are more respondent across different slicer. i have, also, improved the models themselves slightly to assure more reliable printing, taking care to check against interior voids, checking for floating vertices and fattening certain polies to prevent sagging at smaller scale. that the models now appear in the the notoriously picky cults 3d viewer I took as a good sign. let me know if these new files work to your satisfaction. if not i'll refine further. I do try to meet customer expectations and am aware of the need to avoid voiding that can lead to manifold errors. most generally my newer models take greater care to eliminate them so that loading is successful in all slicers in Obj. as well as stl. file format. rf

Thank you friend. I will check them

Hello, Thanks for the files. I have a question, I'd like to print one of the models instead of the entire batch... How can I seperate the models? My Chitubox app doesn't seem to have that option. Thanks

I bought the DEMONIC BLIGHT TECH MAGE AND HIS CREATIONS and as I understand it it’s is supposed to come with two .OBj files and two .stl files but I’ve only gotten one .stl and the two .obj files.

thank you for bringing this omission to my attention. I can only assume the stl. file failed to upload properly as stl. are easier to make than Obj. files and upload faster. I've reuploaded an stl. version of the OBJ. file you reference and have added a third OBJ. /Stl. file pairing containing a complimentary 'demonic blight spider mech' in apology for my stating an stl. version of the said file was available to download. please let me know if this fix is satisfactory to you. rf

thank you for the clarification. I looked over these files you are having trouble with. working under the assumption the largeness of those files was, perhaps, part responsible for the problems you experienced I have divided up the larger sprues in the 'blight multi-set army' and 'menagerie' packs into multiple small files to allow printing on smaller beds (and reduce complexity etc.). I have, also, added Stl. equivilents of all files as some downloaders consider these easir to work with. I, also, did notice that one of the models (the 'demonicblightgreaterdemon' model) had a floating polygon which would likely have made the resultant file too large for many printing beds. this file has, therefore, been fixed. As a thankyou for bringing your problem to my attention the 'demonic blight minion' models in the blight multi-set army pack' have been increased in number from 6 to 9 and 5 hole bases have been provided as an extra file in both the packs you mentioned for optionable mounting

no problem. enjoy the holidays. I have updated the 'blight beast' model in the demonic horde of blight multiset army starter pack to increase its detail and make it less blocky in appearance. more improvements to our current sets onward into the new year. rf

Why won't you answer about the re-upload you did. This is starting to appear like a scam! BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!

.

Is there some way I can send you screenj shots or pics of what I am talking about? Basically there are sections of the models that are translucent. When I go to slice and add supports, the supports do not connect to the translucent parts of the file and the print fails.

I just bought the Greenskin Tanks set and I'm seeing the same issue. Some of the walls have no thickness (so they'd never come out on the printer) and some elements have weird coordinates, where you see the same side of them no matter what camera angle you look from. It's the same thing you get with designs that were ripped from video games and were never intended to be physical models.

I've seen it before and I suspect it's down to using an unsuitable technique to make the models. For printable models, everything should be built from solid primitives, but not all 3D programs work that way.

Should definitely not be advertising the models as 'slicer tested' unless they've actually been successfully printed.

As I go back. Every file I ever bought from you has the same problem. Is there a way to send you the images?

what exactly do you mean by 'corrupted', as many of the files you reference both work on my own system and have been purchased and downloaded by others without problems? might the print bed of your slicer be too small or its preferences require adjustment? have you tried resizing, reorientating or a slicer other than chitubox?

Greenskin tanks set. Same issue. I need to contact cults.

While i am saddened that you are not satisfied with my products, I remain confident that the files you describe are not corrupted as you describe. while i suggested anycubic as a slicer that I am familiar with and using which I have successfully tested the products you describe I did not suggest that this was the only platform on which the files worked. While saddened that you feel the need to contact the cults website, I believe the cult admins will agree in the main with my assessment and would welcome their feedback in this issue. rf

And may I ask your confidence in the files {planetary governor} that you saw were defective and that you re-uploaded? Can I ask a third time where that file is?

you said it was defective so I replaced it. I hope this meets with your satisfaction

So, how do I download the replacement?

Are you going to email it to me? Do I just redownload for thhe original purchase order.

To be honest. If I knew that your files only worked with anycubic and would not work with chitubox then I wouldnt have bought any of them. Don't you think that should be stated so customers know? You said you uploaded a new governor on walker file. Where can I get that to test? I am very disappointed. I am going to tally the amount of files I have bought form you this summer.

Okay, so I just tried the very big tank hunters and each of those tanks are corrupted on chitubox as well. I am concerned that I have bought a lot of your files as you can see over the summer that I haven't gotten to printing yet. Reading what others have found and what I am seeing are all your files corrupted that you are selling on here??? You have such great ideas BUT if they don't work then I think there is a real problem.

thank you for relaying your concerns. My desire is that all my customers are satisfied with their models or at least feel that they they received a fair purchase. I have, however, checked files you reference and they seem to work as anticipated in anycubic slicer. as proof of this fact I have uploaded a screenshot of all models in the set in the slicer flatbed. they, also, show up uncorrupted in cult3ds own model viewer (which is notoriously picky about what it successfully displays). could the fault, in this case, be on your end? might you consider downloading anycubic to use in place of chitubox? it is free to download at https://anycubicslicer.com/ and I have found it reliable and easy to use. as the models, even when scrutinised at length in their original wop files are free of float vertices, flipped faces or unattached polys I am forced to assume they are as they should be. do keep me informed if this explanation is not fully satisfactory. rf

Hi, I bought the planet governor & honour guard themed mini pack by rebelforgeminis

Yes, Thank you for the heads up. I'll get right on it and hopefully have a replacement file with improvements uploaded by this evening. sorry for the flawed file. rf

I've uploaded a new file that contains a slightly improved version of the 'planetary governor on walking annex' model only. I've taken pains to look closely at the model to alter any aspects of it that might be problematic to printing and split the model into 2 parts (that can be slotted together using a simple peg and hole). this improved model appears, at least, to load into the slicer. i've, also, uploaded an improved version of the original file (with the original's 6 other government official models included). this, new, file, also appears to work fine in slicer. perhaps you can tell me how you're own slicer handles these and if the print ok. If not I'll attempt them again. I'll also go over the 'elites' troops model and add a second annex model allowing the governor himself and his two guards to be optional ( in case downloaders wish to add their own models there). i will also take the opportunity (and my desire to apologise) to add 1 or 2 more government official (I had, originally, hoped to add a priest type figure riding on a robot pulpit, but felt pressed for time). rf

Will you email me the new file?

or do I re-download on here?

Hello, the Bile Mortar sets files seem to be corrupted
Opening it in Chitubox, Meshmixer and 3d Builder hasn't brought any coherent results.
Would love to see a fixed reupload of the files.

With love,

thank you for bringing this to my attention. this is especially problematic as this is one of my oldest sets and as such I'm not even sure I still have the original file. I will, however, attempt to recreate them from assets and to express my deep apologies in not having met with your satisfaction with this file will expand the set with further models which you will able to download without additional cost. these should all be ready within the next 3 days.

I have replaced the mortar vehicles with a new obj. file / stl. file and increased their number from 3 to 5 as well. i have, also added a second vehicle type, instanced with one 'contagion catapult vehicle' as an apology for your difficulty printing. I will add further vehicles shortly making this a larger pack and these new models should also be available to you to download without additional cost. if you experience any difficulty printing these new files, or find some other issue with them, please let me know. i aim to find the most satisfactory solutions for all my customers. rf

Hi,

huge fan of your sculps! unfortunetaly your space dwarf pioneerset looks to be corrupted, half of the transporter is not detected and supportable. my prints failed... COuld you pleae upload a repaired file? Many thanks!

I'll get on it immediately. thank you for the head's up

I have re tested the obj. file you referred to on anycubic. though it loaded successfully for me, I reuploaded the the in OBJ. format just in case it was somehow corrupted while being uploaded to cults3d the first time. I have, also, uploaded an stl. format version in case this format type allows you to load it more easily. the file name on the OBJ. file is different than the original only so I did not confuse the 2 while uploading: it contains the same models both as the stl. and as the original. please let me know how you get on with these new files and if you are still having problems I'll try something else. RF

Would converting the files to stl help the problem

thank you for bringing your problem to my attention. the long list of problematic models you list is especially concerning. as you reference. the files with 'slicer tested' in their file name have been tested in the anycubic slicer before being uploaded so, it may be that either you are using a different slicer or a different version of the anycubic slicer. to prevent you being dissatisfied with your purchases, I will, however, seek some way to resolve the problems you are having. I will, therefore, upload some of the files you cite in StL. format and if all goes well add conversions to the rest. i would, in the meantime, suggest you consider the possibility of downloading the latest version of anycubic in case the problem is on your end. I'll get back to you in around 3 hours once I have converted some of the files to stl. to see if any success can be made of these...RF

It appears that I can't use this method to import into my slicer at all then. I unfortunately need to use Bambu Studio due to my printer requiring to use it. When I import it I get an error that there is no geometry data. It might be because it's an obj file. Is there any way to upload an stl version?

Checking now: will advise in 45 minutes

hell there. I've had a look at the model your referred to. as is, I'm not sure the problem is with the model itself, as it loads into (and is viewable) in the cults3d viewer as it should be. the issue may be with your slicer. consider changing settings or switching to the free slicer downloadable from anycubic (as seen in the jpegs provided with the set, the model has been seen to load into anycubic successfully). I have, nevertheless, uploaded a new slightly smaller model in case the size of the model was what was causing it to fail to load successfully to your slicer. I have, also, uploaded a second, entirely new, model of a dog wearing a gnome hat so a comparison test can be made to see see if a second, different, model loads successfully in your slicer. feel free to stay in touch on this issue, tell me if either changing your settings or slicer worked as a solution and whether the 2 new models uploaded load instead. all the best. RB

The .obj files for "giant scout walker of demonic excess multi-option set" are empty. I just downloaded the set and when I opened the files there was nothing there.

I know this problem and it was the bane of my models when i first started uploading. the files are not, actually, empty, put sizing anomalies or stray polygons make the model appear so large to the slicer that it fails to load properly. upon first encountering the problem, i spent two months replacing all similarly flawed files with new slicer tested files tested to load even on smaller printers (these new files generally have '.slicertested' in their file name. this set (and another similar large walker set) where, apparently missed during this sweep. As you can see I have begun uploading replacement files that do not suffer this inability to load in small slicers (these have '.slicertested' in their file name) which can be seen successfully loaded in the anycubic slicer in the tumb-nails. when all the files are replaced i will delete the older files to avoid confusion. As i am genuinely sorry I did not spot that this set had not been updated before, I will, also, add a free set of smaller supporting walkers to the pack to help defend the larger one.

thank you for bringing your problem to my attention. However, I'm unsure why you take issue with the model presented: so far as I can tell the model sold with the set is the same as that pictured as which is rotatable in the cults viewer: a garden gnome seated on a toadstool with fishing rod to which a fishing hook can be attached. where you expecting a different model or did you mistakenly purchase the wrong set? keep me informed I try to make sure my customers are satisfied with their purchases

I think I understand the issue you took with this set. If your complaint concerned the lack of distinct OBJ. file with alternative lure models (that can be added to the end of the fishing rod in place of the standard hook) I have added such an OBJ. file (with 5 alternative hook / lure models). you should be able to download this new OBJ. without cost. If this is satisfactory to you and was the problem with this set you where referring to I'm glad to have been able to help. if your problem related to some other aspect of the set, let me know and I will deal with this specific problem as soon as possible.

Hi! I purchased the “green skin aircraft set”. The obj files won’t print the right wing for any set. Is this an issue with the file, or perhaps on my end? Thank you!

thank you for bringing your problem to our attention. I have had a look over the models you refer to. On the face of it I can see no problem with them (they even show up as designed in the, often picky, cult3d viewer). the problem you describe also seems strangely selective (only the right wings not printing) suggesting accidental model flaws are unlikely to be the cause. I do note, however, that in all the models the right wing is the wing that points towards the axis origin in blender. this might suggest that your slicer is clipping this section of the models prior to printing. I have uploaded a second version of the jet models (dinkyjets.slicertestedflipped) which both repositions the models to be further from the axis and flips them 180 degrees. if, upon attempting to print this new OBJ. file, the right-wings are still missing it will suggest the models are at fault and I will attempt to remodel them. if, however, the leftwings are now missing it will suggest you need to try repositioning the models in your slicer prep area to prevent your slicer clipping this section of your models (the section that housed the rightwings in the original and the leftwings in this new, flipped, version. if the new models print perfectly it will suggest they just needed to be repositioned away from the axis in order to fit better in your slicer's prep area. do be sure that the entirety of the models are within the printable areas of the slicer before printing if you can (either by repositioning them or scaling them down). do be sure to stay in touch irrespective of the outcome so that I can better assure all your models print to your satisfaction. once we have ascertained what the problem is I will apply the appropriate changes to the other 3 OBJ. files

Thanks very much, I’ll test these out and let you know one way or the other how they work. Appreciate the fast response. Love these models, excited to get them printed.

So I haven’t printed these yet, but when I load them into lychee slicer the offending wing (right for original, left for revised) won’t take supports and look thin/ off. Could it be lychee? (I’m not particularly adept at the technology side of 3D printing!)

I personally use the anycubic slicer which is free to download at their website (https://anycubicslicer.com/). i'm afraid I am not familiar enough with lychee to give an opinion on it. as you claim the offending wing remained the same (but reversed) in the new file it may be that the normals for that wing are reversed either in the model itself or became reversed during loading to your slicer. anycubic v.3.0 contains an option to repair files that deals with this problem in the slicer. lychee may have a similar function. meanwhile I'll download lychee slicer and recheck the models by attempting to load them into it. I'll keep you posted here. RM

Good idea! I’m traveling for a week but will try anycubic when I get back. 50% chance it’s me, 50% it’s technology, like always! Thanks very much! -John

Thank you for taking an interest in our models. rebel forge models are sold with requirement that any one printing and selling the models themselves give appropriate credit to the creator (cults3d.com/@rebelforgeminis). those selling printed models (made using our designs) are not, however, required to pay us a monetary commission for these credited sales. this said, if you are feeling especially generous you can give us a donation of your choice by buying one of our open priced models (XD). Indeed, I would be trilled to see how your printed models turn out (what printing medium you use, how you present them for sale etc.) and would be pleased if you keep in touch and even offer suggestions on what ranges we might prioritise in future.
