Hello! I have been curious to know, as you have made movement trays for both the Old World and 40,000, I was curious to know if you may consider making any "Lance" trays , specifically for the Knight faction the Old World at all?

Do your weapons print in halves so one is flat and two halves need to be glued together.

Hello!

The models look great! Which resin do you recommend for printing?
Best regards
Dirk

Hello. I've tried five brands of resin, and the one that gave me the best results was Anycubic. For these types of pieces, standard resin is usually sufficient, although for some pieces that I want to be more durable, I use ABS resin.
I hope my answer is helpful.

Hey,

the Download doń t work, I can Not Open the file

I re-uploaded the file and downloaded it from another account on another computer, and it works perfectly.
The file is a .zip compressed folder, so it requires a file decompressor to open it (Windows usually comes with one by default), but I've tested the files and they work correctly.

Hey.
Tell me what wall thicknesses train models have.

Will they work if I scale them to 1/120?

The minimum wall thickness is usually 1.2mm, and although there are some small, finer details, I don't think there will be any problems going from 1/87 to 1/120 scale if you use an SLA printer.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the supported version wouldn't work for a smaller scale; you'll have to scale the unsupported version and then add the supports yourself using the slicer.

Thanks for the awesome free house! :)

Hey i just wanted to say the your Mech 8 and all the others in this range are excellent they really capture the essence of of the originals but are modernized in a great way. I bought all of them and i hope you find time in the future to do more because i would buy them all in a heartbeat. Thanks for making these.

Thank you very much. I intend to design the 25, 95, 104 models and the commanders throughout 2025, as well as infantry units, and if I have time, make some vehicles. I also already have the sketches to continue expanding my Tau scenery catalog.

Great news i was hoping for this. Thanks

Hey! i bought your mech-8 models about a month ago and found them really cool as proxies for crisis suits! the only issue i had was the fact that the models are about 2 centimeters taller than the actual models, making it look quite goofy on the small 50mm base. i thought i could easily fix this by changing the scale of the model in chitubox to 77 percent, however, when i went to print, because the supports had also scaled down too, many parts failed to print as the supports were too small. I understand that this is a big request and i understand if you don't want to do this, but would it be possible to scale the model to about 77 percent and support them? im sorry but im not very good at applying supports so this would take me ages and would have many errors id need to fix. Thank you for reading!

Hello, thank you for purchasing my version of the XV8.
The assembled miniature should be 8mm taller than the GW model released in 2013. This is because in my design I have slightly lengthened the limbs, and the separation of the waist and neck is slightly wider, but the proportions of the pieces are similar to the original model. Additionally, the width of the shoulders and the backpack are greater.
This might be the main reason it appears larger.
I am currently working on several projects and don't have much time, so I cannot create a smaller scale version at this moment. Maybe later, when I have a lighter workload, I will be able to do it.
If you don't want to wait, you can try placing the pieces without supports in the slicing software you use, scaling them, orienting the pieces in a position similar to the supported version, and generating automatic supports. This should provide you with functional supports.

TEW3
I purchased your THERMO-PLASMA GENERATOR FUTURISTA (SCI-FI) file.
I sent it to someone to print, and they said it is not printable as a hollow model. They said, "no matter what I've tried it's a mess of random supports and glitching vertices. Maybe if you check with the original modeler and ask If they have a fixed version I could make it. But in its current state I can't do that."

They re trying to make the top saucer hollow to accommodate some led lighting and batteries, etc. Do you have a fixed version?

Thank you for contacting me to report the error.
I test all the models I upload with my SLA printer before uploading the files and the pieces turned out fine, but it is possible that when trying with other printers or slicing software an error may appear.
This week I will review it and upload the repaired file.

Hello, I have reviewed the Thermo-Plasma Generator files and I cannot find any errors at a glance.
Can you tell me the file that has the error and what type of printer it will be printed on?
Because if they are the files that come with supports, I indicate in the description that they are for a resin printer, if you try to print them with an FDM printer they will not come out, for this you have to use the file without supports and run it through a specific slicing software for FDM and put your own supports on it.
If that is not the case, I would appreciate it if you could give me more information about the problem so I can solve it as soon as possible.
