Hi,
We are small group of 6 friends modelling mostly jets. All of us will benefit from upgrades - at least I think so because I will be doing modifications. I want to add rest of jet exhaust, main wheel rims, seat belts, control stick.
I am starting to design parts. I was thinking to purchase a base and enhance it.

niestety nie, a na pewno w najbliższych planach nie. Modele zostaly zrobione dla kogoś a tutaj wystawiam swoja pracę. Na ukonczeniu mam jeszcze dwie cieżarowki tez w skali kolejkowej.

No tak, ale na renderingu nie ma wyciec w drzwiach i klamek. a na rysunku 3d sa ... i dlatego ciekawi mnie jak wygladą przód ktorego nie widać na obrazie stla.

i na zdjęciu star nie ma z przodu kierunkowskazów na bokach, a stl ma .. ;) i dlatego ciekawy jestem jak wygląda sciana przednia stl ..

You say that the model is 1:48 scale. I imported the cockpit into the 360 fusion software. I measure the width of it and I find about 225 mm. If I multiply by 48, I find a cockpit 10.8 m wide...
I thought the model was in inch, but when I multiply by 25.4, I still can’t find the right width. Can you help me?
Hello, original file was exported from cad software in milimeters. so i belive you shold check unit settings in fussion. what dimentsion You Want? I was printed this cocpit and it is in 48 scale for sure.

Obove there is picture of cad model. It is in mm, so if you recive 225mm after import you hava propably default import setting in centimimters....
Indeed, I must have a unit problem.
Because when I import the model into the CURA software, it’s OK!
