Hey! Is there still a way to get ahold of your SPRUE sicaran battle tank?

Hi, I used a part from the SPRUE ground plunderer re-sliced, one of the hatches, to make a hellfrost cannon mount, I wanted to check if you were ok with me using it before I uploaded it. I would give attribution back to your profile. please let me know. awesome work by the way.

Use it as you wish, and thanks for your return and appreciation ;) sorry for late answer !

do you have the files broke down more, I cannot fit them on my plate

for the ground plunderer

Hi I’m building your ground plunderer atm and it’s excellent but the way but it’s missing a view port on the front.
I know it sounds stupid but my osd is going mad looking at it lol.
Just thought I’d let you know and keep up the great work.

It’s on the Achilles version sorry

Hello, I love your grounded plunderer model but have been having a nightmare getting it aligned. Any chance you could add lips or tags to help guide the pieces together? It's the sides and hull I'm really having trouble with. Love your work : )

Hey Walkyrie - great artwork. One question - the fully assembled file has wings that are angled, but the individual files to be printed and assembled are all flat. Is there any way you can republish the parts files with wings that are angled down?

Thanks ! :) You're talking about the Hornet I guess ? If you look closely at the 3D file, you'll notice "rails" carved at the bottom, where the wings join the hull : you just have to fold them, it makes sturdier and simpler files. You might need to use green stuf or wood/PVA glue to make it hold efficiently, or even "sprue goo" (plastic parts of unused sprues melted in white spirit or model glue, great for filling gaps and small repairs !)

Bon jour! (sorry - don't know French, and I'm a lazy American not taking the time to have a website translate for me)

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, I was talking about the hornet - again, apologies... I'm still kinda new to this site and how posting works. Thanks for the guidance. I see what you mean about folding. I'll reprint and fold as suggested. Thanks!

Also - what (or how much) would i take to entice you to make a canopy for the hornet that I could print with clear resin (a thin canopy)?

merci!

https://www.leroymerlin.fr/produits/revetement-sol-et-mur/sous-couche-sol/isolant-parquet-flottant-p.html

do you have a more high poly hornet. smoother surfaces please.

Hey very cool Designs especially for fdm Prints. Hey did you take down the Sicaran, kratos and other cool Tank proxies you had a fee days ago? Sky Chance to get the stls again? Best Tobias

Hi there , could these be up scaled to 150% to make it more true scale ? Ground plunder

Hello! Curious if there’s any sort of guide explaining how to assemble the Repulsor?

Hi friend, The Hornet model is so great and super appreciate your work - Can I ask if you have a version of the main hull in a higher poly count that you can share? My 8k printer makes it look fairly angular without necessarily wanting to sand it flat. Thanks again.

Is the SPRUE series only for FDM printers or will they work with Resin as well?

I had no idea they were for FDM and printed the repulsor on my resin printer, lol. Turned out great!

I am writing about the SPRUE Ground Plunderer Resliced. Can you separate the bigger plates into smaller plates for a resin printer or can you let me know the FDM printer settings that you use. Thanks

Hii, amazing work on you hornet, can you please tell me if I have to scale it down a bit or it is already meant to be print and play at 100%? I would like to bring them at an event

Hi ! It should be at the right scale. I've had one occasion to compare it with original models and it seemed quite identical ;)

Hello, I really love your work and especially the hornet! One (small) cutback is there´s no pilot, it´s just the feet. Do you plan to make a pilot, or can you point me to someone who made one ?

Hi ! Thanks :) And, no, I don't plan to make a pilot because it was made to accomodate an original GW pilot torso or any spare eldar torso to make a custom pilot, sorry ! An I think there was a model of eldar pilot on Thingiverse a while ago but I don't kept the link... Hopefully you'll find it with a lucky search ;p

Ok, I didn't find it yet. But nevermind, I will put it on my own to-do list :-)

I have a question about your SPRUE vehicles (fantastic concept and acronym, by the way, thanks for sharing!). Is there a way to split the pieces in the files to fit on a smaller build plate? For instance, with the Sicaran model: the "core" file has the main hull, the heavy bolter mount, and the turret base in one file. It doesn't fit on my Photon M3 build plate, but if I could separate the base hull from the other pieces it would fit. The Repulsor sides also don't fit all at once, but if I could split the "interior" from the "exterior" side they'd work just fine. Any suggestions on a program that can help? I'd appreciate the assist, I'm still pretty new to this aspect of the hobby. Thanks!

Hi ! Thanks for the comment :) And yes : it should be no problem at all with your slicer software, whichever it is (Cura, Slic3r, or else) : usually you have options for "separating a file into objects", or "parts". I use it often with Slic3r and it works just fine : the program separate all idividual parts of the file into different objects. You can also "slice" large objects to accomodate your printer. I suggest you watch tutorials on Youtube about your printer and your slicer program : you'll discover plenty of utilities you never thought you had ;)

Thanks for the tip! I use Lychee for my resin printer, and iirc I was using Cura for FDM; sadly a printer malfunction that I haven’t been able to figure out yet took my CRX out of commission for a while now. I plan on using both for the SPRUE files - the cores and larger bits with less details are perfect for FDM, while the smaller more intricate bites would be great in resin. I’ll definitely post some make pictures when I get them all done up!

Hello, really nice work on the Omega and i was wondering if the Omega turret fits on the new GW plastic model?

Same answer as below ! I don't think it is, but it might be, with some tweaking... ;)

Does the sicarian turret fit on the new plastic sicarian

Never tried, and it was made differently... but it might ! Tell me if you tried it with any success ! ;)
