Huh? The kit does make use of the threading on the AAP barrel yes, it 'locks' the front on. You'll see the part in the components. You could probably make it however you want, just use the part model as a template and build from there.

I’m having trouble downloading this file. I’m trying to download it to the files on my iPhone and then send it straight to my 3d printer. I’ve downloaded files from this website before and it’s worked fine. Would you be able to help? I really need to print this part.

I know this message is now months old, but did you get this figured out? If not, I'll try to help.

Hey man, i'm assembling the magnum currently. Couple of questions:
What size screw does the back of the slide take, where I can mount the new one to it? I tried m3 and m4, neither seemed to fit correctly.
How did you get the mag release installed? I'm having some issues just getting it out of the original lower.
Inside the upper pieces, it looks like there are spots for a rail of some sort for it to attach to? I didn't see a piece in the folder to print that is a mount point/rail. How do I attach the upper pieces to the lower?

Thanks man!

Sorry for the long wait - I don't check this too often. The rear screw I believe is an M5.
The mag release should function the same as the original, the whole thing I recall is a bit of a pain to transfer over. If we're talking about the lower frame, it screws together to the upper frame to replace the original one-piece original frame. The top pieces (the slide and front) fit over the rails on the AAP - this of course assumes you have the railed AAP model, it was brought to my attention some did not include the rails.

I'll try to check back further to see if I can assist any more with it - you can alos message me on discord at StandardIsChu if you'd like more immediate contact and I'll see if I can't help further!
