Hello, I am looking for stl files of historical Korean roof tiles. I want to create a Korean roof in 1/6 scale.
Background: i am a hobby writer and i have written a fantasy story set during the Imjin war.
You can find it for free on the internet under the title Kumiho Na-Ri.
Now I am building dioramas for 1/6 figures from this setting.
Best regards from Germany!

Hi. I'm trying to create a customizable OC. I'm half-Korean, so I'm wondering if you knew a good way to customize a miniature to look more Korean, like from HeroForge. I might also try out the files you've created here.
Heya!
That's exciting~ as far as advice goes with visually giving a character a Korean identity, a lot of it falls on outfits and kitbashing them to replicate the looks of hanbok/Korean armors.
It'll help to familiarize yourself with or put together a collection of references looking up images using Hangul for the best results. 한국 전통의 갑옷 is traditional Korea armor and is a good starting place. Other terms that would help would be Korean archetypes like 조선 포도 Joseon police/guards, 화랑 Silla flower boys (romanticized as warriors kinda like how Cowboys are in the West), 무당 Shamans, 사또 magistrates, 개마무사 Goguryeo cavaliers, and so on. Additionally, finding artists who do a lot of traditional costume art and push designs is a big help- there's a lot on Bluesky like https://bsky.app/profile/asunnydisposish.bsky.social
A few years back I put together an album of ~500 HeroForge Minis designed to fit in a Korean Campaign setting which is hosted in the official Hero Forge fan group on Facebook, feel free to give that a look-through! I didn't use any of my custom models in these, so they are 100% HeroForge and made before they added Kitbashing (I do my own kitbashing in the free 3D program Blender)

If you want more visual armor references and terms, I also have a cheap D&D 5e document on DMs Guild with hand drawn art of historical Korean weapons and armors on fantasy characters which I designed my 3D models here for:

There's also a Korean D&D 5e campaign called Undying Corruption with a bunch of great artwork which I helped playtest that could also be a valuable visual resource for ya, though it is a bit pricey - another way to find the art is to look at Nine Heavens Press does post a lot of the art on their socials.
Let me know if that helps! Hope I didn't overload ya with info~
Is there any other way to contact you, like DM via email? That way I can attach some images and more links explaining what I want to do.
Of course! I'm on Bluesky and Discord, both using Jovey4 which are my preferred contact methods.
