Hello JAPIM, I printed the right wing of 7F7 Tigercat without problems except for part WS3_HINGE. I don't know how to send pictures to illustrate the problem. On my slicer, SIMPLIFY3D, there is a little part not complete, and the printing is also strange. I believe to can use the part, but I was thinking if you may understand why this problem. Thanks. Maurizio
Please post pictures to rcgroups build thread or send via email to aircombat3d@ yahoo.com
Hi, I bought the F6F and your instructions say that for Fuselage parts 3, 4, 5 to print in Vase mode. I tried setting this up per your instuction and the print has failed twice on me. I'm not sure why you say Vase mode when it needs to move to print the tubes for the pushrods, etc? Please advise how to correct for this issue. Thank you in advance!
The closing radius should be set to 0 001. Otherwise the tubes will be self standing and not connected to outer skin. Please check this parameter.
Hi, do you have the file for the decals of the IAR - 80?
I've been using these decals: https://www.napolskimniebie.pl/iar-80#galleryName=productGallery,imageNumber=9
Hey. Thank you for the great discount! That was very kind of you.
I have a question. Do all of your propeller planes styled as WWII fighter planes use the same engines?
I am waiting for the funds to be credited to the website and will make a purchase in the next few days. I may add a few more planes if you agree to the discount 😉
Basically there are 2 sizes: 350W+ planes ( 1m span and up) and 200W planes (under 1m span). So there are only 2 sizes of the motors needed.
Hello japim im interested in building a 2.8m wingspan f7f tigercat fiberglass coated is it possible for you to add retracts and the missing flaps? (Inner wing) my plan is to scale up your design please let me know thank you
Good morning, I've purchased the 950mm p-51. Quick question for you, is it meant to be printed in PLA or LW-PLA? The Bambu Lab 3mf's are setup for PLA but the instructions mention the weight in LW-PLA.....
Model can be printed basically in any material. If you have LW-PLA handy then just change the material in the Bambustudio and everything will be just fine. Or keep it in PLA. You can print both versions and compare which one flies better and suits your type of flying.
What is the KV of the motor and if it has a printing manual for the parts?
Hello!, thank you for your inquiry - which model exactly do you have in mind? Majority of the released models have the build manual attached - you can check it by downloading the test files. They are in 1:12 scale so if the particular model has no test files available - please check another design with test files.
In Which software do you work with ? Is it possible to get in step files?
and 2.5m wingspan please
Excuse me, what is the scaling ratio for the flapped section when reduced to 50mm EDF?
Please scale it by 1.25 (125%)
We will inspect this issue. You can post the pictures on rcgroups dedicated thread. Or in makes section of this model.
Hi do I need to order for the A10 motors 2x Xfly 40mm edf, a left and right version ? or is that not needed....
There is no need to purchase EDF with different directions. At this scale model flies very well with no bad tendencies.
Cordialement, Dan
Hello Dan. If the 3mf don't work with you - then please follow the Dart_setup.pdf file that is included in the download. It describes all the necessary parameters. In the mean time we will work on the files specific for the bambustudio. Cheers.
Built 3dAeroventure Chipmunk with your 10mm tubes. Aircraft is extremely tail heavy. What CG do you set yours at?
I haven't build the Chipmunk - I just modified the wing design. Have you used any of the CG calcs - like ecalc.ch?
Hey Japim! Thanks for being one of the first to download my "Super Flying Man". Hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Figured I would make something a little different this time. Still getting use out of your Komet from last year. Broke the Bearcat unfortunately though. Hope you like it, Bill.
I liked it so much that I had to have one Flying Superman for myself.
Don't forget to download the actual "SuperMan" files. They are separate due to copyright.
Hi there - is the centre of gravity on the Me163 definitely correct? I tried a glide test and it was VERY nose heavy...
The marking provide safe location using CG location derived by CGcalc tool. I do agree that it is nose heavy and can be put back up to 5mm aft from recommended location.
Pozdrawiam i gratuluję projektu Iskry. Jest piękna!
Pod 64mm wystarcy przeskalować elementy o 128%. Szerokość ścieżki też zwiększyć do ,46mm i będzie pasować.
Pozdrawiam i trzymam za slowo ws.duzej Iskry. P.s. dorzuce tez prosbe o Iryde, Grota i Biesa
Hello, your A10 is an amazing Model, but... your different versions and directories. Its not so easy to get all needed parts for the newes version of it. Can you please discribe the printing details a bit more? Bambu Studio imports only the geometry of the 3mf file. and the last... :) Did you try to add an landing gear? There is a Version at printables "Folding Landing Gear for RC Airplane" maybe you can scale it and add this to the model. that would be nice.
Frank
Hello Frank. The latest package is the rev1 (as we try to apply the change control meanings to follow the different versions). The information how to setup each of the files is included in one of the PDF files. The truth is some of the files had to be re-named to include D (details only) or LED (panel lines + LEDs) to reflect the fact that the initial release was bare bone A10 without any details added. But other than that the file naming should remain consistent. As for the landing gear - there is no way that twin 40mm will fit a landing gear that is strong enough and large enough to support grass runway takeoff and landing. There is basically no space to fit either the servo-less unit, or printed mechanism and normal 9g servo behind it. Maybe Twin 50mm or Twin 70mm can accommodate such feature.

Thanks man!! You are one of the designers here on Cults that I really like. I actually own your Bearcat and Komet, but just under a different Username.
Thank you! Looking forward for you next models.
Greatly enjoy the model plane plan. However I am having g a very hard time printing the wings. There is an area that prints so thin that the wing segments simply split. I am printing this more for Modeling than flight. It is the square section in the wings. The walls are so thin they snap right out. Printing with standard PLA .16 layer height inner and outer wall .5. Other than the wings everything has printed and glued up flawlessly. It’s for my wife a retired A10 pilot and means a lot to me. Thank you for any help. Not sure where to send a pic to.

Please send the generated gcode file and 3mf file used to generate it to aircombat3d@yahoo.com . We will review the print settings that lead to these inconsistencies in the print.
The detailed right side vertical tail for the A-10 has the LED cutouts in it. It doesn't have the channel for the wire, but it still has the cutouts for the LED. Can you upload the file for that piece without the LED cutout? Thanks!
You are correct - the revised part has been uploaded. Thank you for the info. Happy printing!
Thank you! Downloading now. I also noticed that the detailed "Lightning" version of FS2 does not have alignment holes on its front face. I did not check to see if the other versions of FS2 are also missing them.
Done!
Hello, Japim. About the F7F, I have another question. I printed the whole right wing. With the light PLA and vase parameters, printing is okay. Only a few more structural parts are in normal PLA. However, I notice that the wing sections have holes for a 6 mm carbon tube. What about the smaller holes? They seem to be for a 1 mm or 1,5 mm. What is the scope? Steel rod of 1 or 1,5 mm? Or anything else? Thanks Maurizio
These were intended for 1.5mm CF rods. If not available steel wire should work too. If you have 2mm steel wire then cut it on angle, and using hand electric drill you should be able to "drill them out" and use the 1.75mm filament as guides - running along the entire structure to provide x-layer reinforcing.
