It's partly my fault because I made two holes (top and bottom) to offer a choice, but it actually complicates the installation. Do it this way and don't route the LEDs between the "i" and the "m". Yes everything is possible, the difficulty for this model is the lights at the edges of the model. I'm looking to find a solution ;)

I think a small black border (2-3mm) around the lights is no problem, so the inserts could fit more easily. Or plan b could be to print the complete top-inserts with 2 colors (2-3 layers white, then 2-3 layers black). cheers Chris

Hello Chris, I worked on this this weekend. In fact, I have a lot of difficulty creating this model because of the very thin light strips and too much on the side. I think I have to leave 2 to 3 mm on the sides. But I'll get there ;) sorry for the time it's taking. Sincerely.

unfortunately It does not fit very well. is it possible to do Corps17 stl and Corps16 stl as 1 cover? the first 2-3 layer white and then 2-3 top layer in black (a little smaller to get a small white border left). so we have only 1 top cover with a better and easier fit. we can also remove the 2 legs/stand when we have 1 cover.

I printed the white layer 0,6mm and the black layer 1mm, that is enough for stability and good brightness of the leds. you can change it with that dimensions.

Hi Franck, I printed the last days and I was able to glue the Tron together. There is a problem of the covers for the "diagonal" upper parts of the model. the cover does not fit inside the base, see https://imgur.com/a/vCciccP

Maybe you do a testprint of the upper parts to see where you have to resize the cover?

Overall its a really cool and big model, thanks for this masterpiece again,

Is it possible to do the covers flat without the border (only the second color is 2-3 layers higher). I think the border is printed in 2 colors also, I dont know how the look is? so maybe flat without border, so we can do the 2 color print easier and cleaner? what do you think? Thanks a lot , Chris

Franck, maybe you can do a little change? So I could print the covers of "LAND" without the cuts. See https://imgur.com/a/5ffWQ4V . Can you merge the covers for "LA", so that I can print it as one file without cut? And if you could move the "N" a little bit to the right we can also print the cover for it without cut?
