If you still know the scale factor you used, scaling the LockBar by the same factor should work just fine. (Measuring and calculating the factor should be good enough, though.)
Hey, I printed and painted up some of the plants and posted them on Reddit. I think they're awesome.
These are all amazing, i love the creativity and can not wait print a diverse forest of these i will absolutely upload when im done, but that may not happen for a few months since im printing an army to hide in it first. but thank you so much, is there a bundle upload where we could just download all of them? if not it would be a great addition to your page. thank you again for sharing with us!
Greetings, I just stumbled across your profile and your alien plant designs. I LOVE them!! I wrote a D&D story for my granddaughter that had a carnivorous plant in it - a Tanglefoot Vine. I'm going to print several of your designs and create a little diorama and use the Alien RockBreaker Plant as the Tanglefoot Vine. Totally AWESOME designs. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much, that sounds amazing! If you take pictures of the finished diorama, I'd love to see them. And if you need anything specific to make your story come alive, just let me know and I'll see if I can add it to my list. :-)
Hi can I please have permission to sell a few of your models at craft shows once in a while? (not the files) thank you John
Most of my model come with a license that allows commercial usage. So sure, go for it. :-)
Hi. Might it interes you that https://cults3d.com/en/users/glmtop/3d-models is stealing your mushroom designs and reposting them on cults.
Thanks for letting me know! I'll see what I can do about that...
I would like to recommend those prints. They can make fantastic terrain. It took me 6 months to make a whole gaming table. The plants have the alien vibe and are totally worth it.

This is brilliant! Thanks for taking the time and taking/uploading all those photos. It is always nice to see the plants in action. And I'm pretty sure, these plants feel most comfortable in a large herd like this. :-)
I was hoping to see these photos but apparently, they have been taken down
Your plants are fantastic man! They look like something that would fit really well in a Metroid game or oldschool sci-fi artworks. A pure pleasure to look at!
Thanks! I'm glad you like them. I hope to have a little more time soon, so I can get a few new ones ready for publishing.
Hello! Your art has so much personality, and I'm excited to print and paint your weird and wonderful flora :)
Thanks a lot, have fun printing and painting! :-)
do you have one zip file with all your amazing mushrooms and alien plants. I would love to do a board for stare wars legion at a con with all of these
Sounds great! Unfortunately, it would be quite difficult to find/gather all these files. However, it has proven rather easy to download them from my cults3d overview page after logging in . So, here you go: https://geoxis.de/uploads/allcults3d_april2023.zip
Hi! I just wanted to say big thanks. I love this collection. The design is great, the vision is great, the painting is great. This is something I was looking for for a long time. My highest respect to You. Thank You for Your job.
Thanks a lot! I'm happy to hear that you like the plants. There will be more soon. Actually, a new one will be available as soon as I get the import working again. ;-)
Olá, boa tarde, tudo bem? Sou do Brasil e gostaria de obter algumas de suas criações, mas não sei como pintar. Será que você poderia me auxiliar? Obrigada. Thais Alessandra
Hi Alessandra,
thanks for reaching out. I'm glad you like the plants!
For the most part, I'm using acrylic colors for painting. They do stick to PLA astonishingly well. However, I'm always using a primer first as it adds some additional adhesion, helps to bring out some of the colors and seals/hides most of the layer lines left over from printing. For this, I'm using some cheap spray can - but I'm going to try airbrushing a Vallejo primer which I recently bought, too.
Regarding colors: I'm using Vallejo colors and washes for most of the painting. I also have some cheaper colors from hardware stores lying around. Those come in handy for painting larger pieces, low(er) detail work and some effects.
There is a photo of the colors I used when painting my Tentacular-Plant right here:
https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/tabletop-plant-tentacular-alien-vegetation-19
Most of the painting is based on classic miniature painting techniques. After priming, I usually start with applying a base coat and a few gradients. Dry brushing helps with highlighting the finer details. And washes are an easy and fast way to add instant shadows. Honestly, there is quite some trail and error / improvising involved. ;-) But, if you have any questions regarding any details, just let me know.
Have a great day!
Howdy partner, would you be so kind to add a flat/no painting hole version to the rhododendron (26)?
Hi there! I'm glad you like the plants. It took me a moment to find the original files but I've now updated plant 26 with two additional 'flat' STLs. Have fun! :-)
Hi, I really like your Alien vegetation. designs. Are you going to make more like "ALIEN VEGETATION 17"?
Thanks! I'll see what I can do. The original tree sculpt isn't that nice to work with but I'm planning to make a similar one which makes creating multiple variants a little easier.

I am interested in your kayak model: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/simple-kayak-toy-model
However, since I am planning on milling this on a CNC, I really don't want the handles on it because they are impossible to cut on a vertical mill. This model has two handles on back and one on front. Is there any way you can remove these handles?
Hey! I'm glad you like the model. I've just added a "withount handles"-version vor both versions. Happy CNCing. :-)
Thanks so much!
