United States 155mm M982 Excalibur Guided Artillery Shell

🔎General Information

This is a detailed 3D model for the United States 155mm M712 Copperhead Artillery Shell. This artillery shell is designed for use with difference artillery systems such as the the M114, M109, M198, M777 and CAESAR howitzers.

The M712 Copperhead is a 155 mm laser-guided artillery projectile developed to engage armored targets with high precision. It is fired from standard NATO 155 mm howitzers and homes in on laser energy reflected from a target designated by a forward observer. Unlike conventional high-explosive shells, Copperhead uses guidance and control surfaces to correct its flight path during descent. This allows it to achieve significantly greater accuracy against high-value targets such as tanks.

This M712 Copperhead artillery shell pack includes a total of 21 parts, detailed as follows: the shell body consists of 9 parts; the obturator and driving bands are made up of 6 parts; the fins, fin holder, and fin break consist of 5 parts (You will need to print each part four times); one body bolt is included (14 copies of the body bolt are needed).

All files are compatible with 250mm build height printers

• Layer Height (Resolution): 0.1 mm or 0.2 mm (A larger resolution, is suitable for printing bigger parts.)
• Nozzle Size: 0.4 mm
• Nozzle Temperature: 205 °C

You should experience no printing issues with these parameters.
