After seeing lots of small 3d printable container ships i decided to have a go at creating one myself so went for a large container ship (650mm in Length) that can carry 400+ of the stackable containers included with this model.

3D printing settings

Filament used - PLA

Nozzle size - 0.4mm

layer height - 0.2mm

Print temperature - 180c

Print speed - 40mm (30mm for Rack and Container accessories)

Layer settings - top-6 / bottom-6 / wall-3

infill - 10%

Supports - supports are required

Print time - between 15-20 hours per section

Filament required - approximately - 500g (all sections)

difficulty rating - medium build difficulty, sanding will be required to ensure parts sit flush with one another.

Model dimensions - Length - 650mm / Width - 96mm / Height - 95 mm (when printed at 100% scale)
