KeyMod Front Rest Sled / Bag Rider

Description

I designed this for my gen 2 Ruger Precision Rifle, for their factory KeyMod handguard. Should fit other keymod handguards also.

This front rest sled is 3 inch (76,20 mm) wide and it provides a wide, stable support surface for:
- benchrest shooting
- sighting-in optics
- load development
- F-Class practice
- general precision shooting from a front rest.
Sled comes in 2x2 versions:
- Flat – maximum contact area and stability on bags or rests
- Cut ("reverse U") – reduced friction and smoother recoil tracking on softer bags.
Both versions include a variant with cut-out for picanitty rail mounted on handguard (so it doesn't need to be removed).

Unlike a bipod, the sled rides smoothly on a front rest or shooting bag, providing excellent stability and consistent recoil tracking.

The design mounts directly to the factory KeyMod handguard using standard KeyMod hardware.

No modifications to the rifle are required.

Notes

This accessory is intended as a front support for precision shooting and benchrest use. It is not designed to replace a bipod for field shooting.
