Death Star as an Easter Egg box with a thread

In 3 parts (top, bottom and a thread) with optional stand
7,5cm high

Or in one part (not as a box) with optional stand
6cm high (as in file name) - print "box stand" in 80% size to fit this egg

Both in older version and V2 (in file name)

New version (V2) is with new texture mapping on the model.
- more visible lines between each sector
- better texture of each sector (not stretched), especially the top and bottom ones

STAND is in

  • two shapes (square / triangle)
  • versions with or without a hole in the center (more / less filament used)
  • with carved letters (original without additional name) or domed

Uploaded 3 models with 6cm easter egg (full model, not a box).
Print with supports

Edit 21 III 2021
Uploaded version V2 with changed mapping and few stand versions.

Edit 08 IV 2022
Removed stand for 6cm egg (you can print 80% size of box stand)
Added Stands with domed letters (original are cutted in)

3D printing settings

Made for 0.4mm nozzle (some model parts has only 2 walls).
Maybe it can be printed with 0.5mm too but you will need to check it in slicer.
If you want to print it smaller I recommend to use a smaller nozzle too.

Normal versions doesn't need supports.
'no bridge' versions are without flat part on top so it will have more room inside but will need support in the center

Printed with 0.2mm layer hight.
