Crosman DPMS SBR Suppressor Concept

This piece is currently a work in progress as I have not finished printing it or tested it yet.

NOTICE: This suppressor is intended only for use on BB guns / Air Rifles. This in no way is meant for production for or use on actual firearms. Doing so is illegal without filing the proper paperwork, paying tax stamp, and receiving approval for a Class III license.

I liked the mock silencer design by sickopsycho but wanted to see if I could make it a working suppressor. Although the Crosman DPMS SBR is not loud by default, this was designed as a concept to test the possibility of noise reduction on this BB rifle.

I used Fusion 360 to build this from scratch but recreated the majority of the look from sickopsycho's (thus the remix attribution).

Please feel free to modify and improve this design with the included f3d file. I would love to see ways to make this better.

Tested update: Printed beautifully at 102% scale with a perfect thread fit. There was a slight audible difference with the suppressor attached but the majority of noise comes from the action of the rifle itself (as expected). Accuracy and velocity of the BBs did not seem to be affected.
