Commercial use gear fidget toy stim tool paper crinkler spinner

This little toy is based off of my original gear fidget design. I got the idea for a paper crinkler when one of my students ran some paper between the gears and it made a really nice pattern. The added bonus to this design is it not only can it be used in the same way as the original but it can also be held as a spinner.

There are two styles to choose from. You can have the turning knob to aid with paper crinkling or the standard end cap style to simply hold between your fingers for flicking and spinning the gears around each other.

When printed, ensure you test the gears on the posts before you fully assemble as you may need to shave the seams down with a knife/sandpaper if your slicer has put harsh seams on the posts/gears. Hope this makes sense. I've added some photos to help illustrate this. The drive gear that attaches to the turning/spinning knob must slide on easily. I have found from using a few different printers that you can sometimes get a slight bulge on the corners which can make it a little too tight. If you don't address this you may have too much friction when assembled. I use a Dremel for ease when removing the seam inside the gears however you can simply use sandpaper or a small round file.
