3D model description

The Minimus Precision Layer Calibrator

-14 sizes 140mm up to 400mm.

-New .8mm Cross Flow Test Added.

  • Ensure perfect glass layers everytime🏆-

A good first layer is a combination of...

-1. All 4 corners measured above bed screws are same height.

-2. Print Surface is "Flat" (has few high or low spots)

-3. Nozzle tip is at .2mm +- .01 above your print surface.

-4. Print Surface has good adhesion. (clean)

Run this test before you print to insure each one of your creations is a success.👌

-Instructions

"Always be sure your esteps have been adjusted before tuning your first layer or adjusting Flow"

"Turn off skirt" for 2min print time.

  1. Measure the 4 arrows printed over "bed adjustment screws" with a 2 digit digital caliper to confirm they are .2mm (within +- .02mm).
    Finely adjust bed knobs to tune.

  2. Examine the 10mm test pads placed at mid points to monitor print quality and adhesion. Confirm there are no gaps between lines and surface is smooth.

If you see Gaps the Z offset may be High.
If surface looks rough it may be Low.

After your 1st Layer is exactly .2mm Use the .8mm Cross to calibrate Flow.👍
