K2 Plus CFS Desiccant Tub

This desiccant tub is to assist with drying of the CFS filament storage device, and is adhered into the unit. Up to two of these will fit.

Designed to fit even a small build-volume printer, this tub has a simple plastic lid (print it on its side) and a magnetic backing plate.

Use 5mm round rare earth magnets of at least 2mm depth to attach the two tub and the backing plate. Fill the tub to the last set of slots in depth, with 4mm or greater desiccant beads.

Attaching the backing plate to the clear plastic cover of the CFS, the bottom edge should be in-line with a dark plastic line on the clear cover towards the hinge. To attach this, use either double sided tape or super glue. Be advised, this COULD damage the lid long-term.

Once in-place, you can attach and remove the desiccant as desired thanks to the magnets. The tub is held out of the way and air is able to freely circulate around the unit. To replace the desiccant, simply remove the magnetic tub, pop the lid and empty the old beads and replace with fresh ones as needed!
