3D model description

Minimalistic enclosure using 50cm x 50cm x 2mm hobby glass (polystyrene) panes.

Side and back pane just slide in.
Front pane slides in at the bottom and snaps in place at the top.
Taping the edges of the panes with electrical pvc tape reduces rattling and stiffens em up a bit.
Filament is fed from the bottom. The holder is just a pvc pipe for now; plans for putting the pvc pipe on a 8mm axle with bearrings. Works great as is. The roll in the pic is a 40cm 2kg roll ... 5cm to stpare on top and bottom ... perfect.

I always loved making, braking, fixing, mending and abusing things. Especially the latter: making what I need by using things that were not intended for that purpose. A 3D printer is one of the nicest tools I ever owned: you figure out what you need, you find something that sort of works and then make the parts to bridge the gap. Custom parts for whatever purpose at barely any cost at all; maker heaven.

Bonjour,
je ne vois pas vos entretoise de 12 cm, pouvez vous, svp, mettre une photo ?
D'autre part, les pattes pour les vitres peuvent elles être pour des vitres de 2.5 mm d’épaisseur ?
Merci d'avance
