Gearshift bellows gear shift Boot Retaining Ring – Renault/Dacia Logan

I modeled this replacement part after my original gearshift bellows retaining ring broke.

The original gear shift boot was attached to the retaining ring using thick staples. Since I didn’t have a heavy-duty stapler available, I repaired mine using a strong thread instead, and this replacement ring was designed to restore the original mounting function.

This part is designed to replace the original plastic retaining ring that holds the gear shift boot in place.

Version 1 – Original Design 1️⃣

The first version was designed and tested on a Renault Logan 2018.

I’m not sure if it fits Sandero or other Logan model years, so please compare the dimensions with your original part before printing.

The hole positions in this version were copied from my own original gearshift bellows.

The original part has small ribs, but in my case they were not relevant because they are located on the opposite side and do not affect installation.

This version works, but after more testing I created an improved Version 2 with a revised design.

Version 2 – Improved Design 2️⃣

This version includes improvements based on real use and testing.

The outer dimensions were slightly increased to provide a stronger snap fit and a more secure installation.

The hole layout was redesigned because, on the original version, some holes were very close to the retaining clips. These areas are more sensitive because the clips already create stress during installation and normal use.

This V2 includes:

Multiple-hole version:
Several hole options positioned away from the clip areas to improve strength and reduce stress concentration points.
No-hole version:
A blank version that allows you to drill your own holes according to your specific gearshift bellows.

Designed from a Renault Logan 2018 original part. Compatibility with Sandero or other Logan model years has not been verified.

Be careful with the snap fit tabs. I used PLA+, so my part was stronger, and it snapped into place like a charm 👌🏻
