3D model description

On my FlashForge (Replicator Dual clone) the spool holders are great for the fatter spools, but I have gotten a few that are skinny, and the spool drifts back & forth along the post. That leads to the filament getting tangled and other nasty stuff.

3D printing settings

I've put my filament guide tube down over the spool so it can't "fall out" of the spool, keeping the filament on the spool. (When the tube was higher, sometimes it would pull the filament off the edge of the spool and wrap it around the post). Unfortunately the skinny spools walk along the post, and out from under the guide tube. Using the spacers before the nut allows the spool to stay where it's supposed to.

Instructions

Print both spacers. Then when you have a "narrow" spool, use one or both spacers to fill most of the gap. I seem OK with 1-2CM of a gap, but more than that caused trouble. The spacers are different widths because so are the various spools I've bought.
