3D model description

Continuation of previous collection RIBONE. This time it is about twisting the original ribs to build similar volume.

3D printing settings

Design can be printed in any color or size and has wide variety of possibilities thanks to additive technologies.

Lamp shades are especialy designed to be printed using FDM 3D printer. While designing this shades I have taken in account the technology and way how the object is printed. Trying to avoid any support material and use as less material as possible to build firm structure but also big enough in short print time.

Shade is designed to work with IKEA cord set SEKOND:

Martin Žampach,
an industrial designer studied Glass Art at the Secondary Art School in Luhačovice. In 2006 he graduated from the Tomas Bata University in Zlín, where he studied Industrial Design, both in the Czech Republic. He also studied Product Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland.

In the past, Martin has focused his work on glass design, as well as trophies for various clients. His lifestyle collections are playfully inspired by Czech temperament and dialects. He was always interested in new technologies and several years ago he started to study 3D printing methods for prototyping as well as for production – as the result, WAVE, SPIRAL and ZIGZAG vase collections were born.

It was packed separately and unfortunately, I have last two boxes.

145mm x 1400mm is perfect!
Do you have a package for the 4 lamps (Ribone spiral / cross two / cross 1 / derecho)?. The four are beautiful.

Hi, the size is actually 145mm diameter and 140 mm height so you could scale it a bit and it still should work with IKEA fitting for the bulb.

I love this lamp!. Can I print it in 15x15cm? Could i still get a light bulb in it?.
