It is scaled down from a geographic area of around 2.183 km x 2.170 km to a 3D printable miniature in the dimensions of 170.5 mm x 170.5 mm. The scale from the geographic area (4.738 sq km) to the miniature is approximately ~12805:1.

The terrain is modeled from geographic data for realistic terrain representation. Ideal for educational purposes, architectural visualization, or as a decorative piece.

Recommended Print Settings:

• The included 3MF files contain two highly specialized print profiles: "miniature-classic" and "miniature-arachne". For optimal results, use "miniature-arachne" (note: expect long slicing times).
• Due to the nature of geographic terrain data, models may contain non-manifold geometry or areas that require support material. This cannot be avoided. Our included print profiles handle these cases well.
• For printers from other manufacturers or other slicers, check our Miniature Printing Guide for recommended settings (especially support settings).

Assembly:

• Gently put the miniature into the frame. Depending on your printer's calibration, that should be enough to hold the miniature.
• If in doubt, use some super glue. For PLA, I use thick cyanoacrylate glue. I experienced best results with glue that contains Ethyl-2-cyanacrylat.
• Hanging Holes: My frames always have a hole pattern divisible by 10 mm - for this miniature's size the "Hanging Hole Distance" results in 60 mm between holes.

Contains information from OpenStreetMap, which is made available here under the Open Database License (ODbL).

Includes STLs, a generic 3MF, and optimized 3MF files with print profiles for BambuStudio (A, P, X, H-Series; pre-colorized) and Snapmaker Orca (U1; pre-colorized).
