Country tramway open platform wooden car for winding track normal gauge in H0 format
This is the basic model of my normal gauge country tramway,
I imagined a wagon (Era III), running slowly, on very long routes through the European countryside, serving a lot of small stations, (of course a Europe without borders and without wars), a bit like the trains of the new world. Of course, it has all the facilities known at the time.
Eventually, I want to add a luggage van, and many other types of passenger and freight cars, if you have ideas, or wishes, do not hesitate to tell me in the comments, the goal is not to reproduce a train that existed, but a train that could have existed. If you publish models related to this project (same era, same curve radius and same width of materials), let me know in the comments, I will add them to the list.
Some models (the basic ones) are free of charge, the particular ones have to be paid

** Assembling**
Start by assembling the axles.
The axles are made up of 21 x 1.75 watch band "spacers", some people call them "pumps", "strap pin", Chinese mail order sites call them "strap pins" or "link pin" or "watch pins", I found them here : AliExpress
Remember to match the diameter of the center hole of your wheels to the diameter of your axles based on the accuracy of your printer,
You can replace the printed axles with metal ones, I buy mine here: AliExpress
Think to adapt the position of the hub holders by modifying the .stl file
Then, assemble the chassis.
My couplers are from AliExpress, but all NEM couplers are suitable
Clip the NEM couplers into the NEM boxes
The NEM housings should be fixed to the chassis, using M3 x 6 screws with a metal washer in between.
The M3 x 6 screws are from AliExpress.
The washers are from AliExpress.
Clip on one of the hubboxes, put the axles on and hold them with the second hubbox, slide the brakes into their slots.
**Installation of the windows
Glue acetate film on the inside of the walls and ends
The film is from AliExpress.
Case assembly (see below)
Then you have to clip the ends and install the walls
**Roof assembly
Glue acetate film to the inside of the canopies and slide the canopies into their slots
Clip the ridge cap to the top of the roof, and clip the roof to the ends
Assembling the platforms
Glue the pads in the slots provided for this purpose
Clip the platforms onto the ends of the frame
Good impression
By any chance, I share my Gcode for my KP3S printer, feel free to offer your corrections in comments
If you print this wagon, please upload your pictures in a Make on Thingiverse or in Make on Cult3d : it's my best compensation.
And, if you want to help me pay for the PLA used for the prototypes of this scale model, I accept donations at buymeacoffee.com.
Thanks in advance
