VFC MP7 suppressor

MP7 suppressor for VFC AEG and GBB airsoft replica, that comes in two variants:

Long ( 220x38mm), designed with an internal space for a tracer unit in mind (28x50mm). The cap is threaded into the main body so you can place and take out the device as you please.

Short (185x38mm) with no space for a tracer unit, mainly for those with smaller printers. The cap will fit the main body without using thread. On the inside, the design is meant to actually reduce the noise made by the replica when shooting. The shorter length will also reduce the stress applied to the outer barrel of the airsoft replica.

The back hole of the back piece, in which the threaded adapter goes, has the same diameter as the actual flash-hider, so you can use the original flash-hider as a threaded support. Aldo, there is no retaining system. You will have to glue it in place or something…

The back piece, the threaded adapter and cap (on the shorter option body) must be glued in place. I recommend using resin.

update 30.09.2024: added "Back piece" with 14mm CCW thread.

This design is mainly tested using resin printing and thus i cannot guarantee the success for filament printing. The shapes are simple and in theory should work. There are no supports needed but you will have to carefully place the parts on the print bed to avoid overhangs. I have attached a picture with my suggestion for the placement. Aldo you will not need to print all the parts at once.
I recommend using tough resin only. The normal one used for modeling will not take the stress. Especially the threaded adapter.
