Thank you for your interest. But I don't think this will go on sale. What would be a "reasonable" price for you? And a second question afterwards: What do you know about 3D modeling?

It looks like a nice model but like any other market the competitors pricing has more to do with the reasonable market value, nothing to do with the level of knowledge of modelling. That being said it looks like most other imp fighters are for epic scale or about $18 so its not like this is out of line in price. I think this is the only one with moving bits.

Agree with this sentiment above. I often see very high quality models that dont get alot of downloads due to their price. I am not dissing your modeling skills at all, but you must consider you arent producing them in a vacuum. There are creators who make models at a similar or equal level to your stuff in terms of quality, and are cheaper or free. There are folks such as NFEYMA who make similarly high quality sculpts and sell them at far lower prices, and as a result they get exponentially more downloads, and thus exponentially, not linerally, more money. He sells his Leman Russ proxy, which is presupported, for about 6 dollars, and it has over 200 pruchases. I prefer your tank model, but its just hard to justify buying it when there are alternatives at that a similar level for nearly a third the price. Think of it like this, would you rather sell 10 files for 15 dollars each, or sell 50 files for 5 dollars each? Your models are great but they many just arent market price and that prob turns off alot of people who otherwise not hesitate to download them.

I thought a little longer about whether I should reply to your comment. I think I can estimate my prices realistically. I also orientate myself on my "competition" and I think that my prices for armoured vehicles are in the upper middle range, which is fine for me. Of course, comparable models can be found for less or at no cost at all. So it depends on the personal taste of the customer what he wants to afford. As far as NFEYMA is concerned, his Rogal Dorn Proxy (DURANDAL TANK) is a good example that I am right in my price assessment.
As for my Thunderbolt, I would say that it is perhaps a little more expensive than comparable planes (although there are not that many), but in my opinion it is not overpriced (an extra designed pilot figure is also included). I would rather see the comparison with the Forge World model. Here too, of course, personal taste is the deciding factor.
Your argument to sell 50 models for 5 dollars rather than 10 for 15 dollars makes sense from an economic point of view (especially for the buyer ;-) ), but here too I'm not necessarily dependent on selling as much as possible, as I only do this whole thing in my spare time, for the fun of modelling or, more precisely, constructing (which is more to the point). If I were to set a realistic price from an economic point of view (for the design hours, CAD program, etc.), you would be very surprised.
And to answer your question about profit, I would rather sell 50 models for 15 dollars ;-)

Oh, sorry I made the assumption they did as you said you wanted to be compared to the Forge World models.

Just found this. Had I found this before the release of the 8mm version I would have bought this immediately and shrank it down to 6mm. Pricing is just fine to me. Compare the quality of this model to any of my favorite authors like NFEYMA and VALENIR and it is absolutely in line. This author knows what he is worth and both his models and pricing show it.

But simply scaling down the large model and printing it out would cause you some problems...as the large model is constructed differently (hollow inside with thin walls) and some details would then disappear. That's why I had to redesign the smaller model (based on the large one and then scaled accordingly) and then make the necessary adjustments.
