This is 28 - 32mm scale wargaming terrain re-using filament spools as one of the key design features.

  • Added:

3D printing settings

  • Cladding was printed on it's side with supports
  • Walkways were printed with supports for the tabs
  • Ladders are printed flat

The cradle, and cladding is scaled for sunlu spools. The code is parametric and the parts can be modified to fit other spool dimensions.

The spools that I'm using have the following dimensions in millimeters when laid on their side.

  • height = 60
  • radius = 97.5
  • wall_width = 4
  • cut_radius = 36.5
  • internal_wall_width = 3

You can use this app to generate parts for your particular spool.
