3D model description

I was having trouble finding a place to mount my Sirius Onyx satellite receiver in my Ford Ranger, so I whipped up this thing. It mounts to the back of the receiver (the dock, actually) with the 4 mounting screws provided, and I attached mine to the front of the center console with 4 1/4-20 machine screws and nuts. I'm sure smaller hardware would work fine. It could probably mount to any near vertical surface, but I have provided the Solidworks 2013 files to allow for modification.

The wings are to guide the power, audio and antenna wires down to the carpet to keep them out of the way.

I made mine out of PLA; and as I should have guessed, it melted and folded over on the first hot day. So I redesigned it with a way-overkill center rib and fillets for stiffness. I'd be interested to hear if anyone makes one out of ABS and how it holds up in summer.
