3D model description

This version Pachyderm chassis, sacrifices half of the transport capacity to replace it with a turret equipped with heavy weapons.

I made 2 versions of the hull, one for a turret on the rear, and one on the middle of the hull.

I share these stl files for free, but if you would like to thank me, consider sharing your makes, that would really make me happy.

3D printing settings

Optimised for FDM printing.

Can be printed supportless depending of the tracks
Designed to be quickly printed with a minimum number of parts and to be easy to assemble: the hull only need to be assembled between the two tracks, like a sandwich.
I design my models so that parts can be swapped between them.
The sponsons can be armed with one of my 10x5mm connector weapons.
Most of the turrets of my other models are compatible with this hull.
The tracks of my other “sandwich assembly” models are also compatible.

If you are printing the tracks that need supports, the best parameters I’ve found in Bambu Studio for easy-to-remove supports are:
-Support Type: Normal
-Style: On build plate only
-Remove small overhangs: Checked
-Top Z distance: Double the layer height (e.g., 0.16mm for a 0.08mm layer)
-Top interface spacing: 0
-Don't support bridges: Checked
