🔥 Next-generation Speedsoft ESG-style HPA Tank Grip for M4/V2 airsoft replicas. This 3D printable STL/3MF grip is designed for PolarStar Micro Reg, Balystik and compatible Zimakyfa/AliExpress HPA regulators.
This grip is the result of months of redesign, testing, and real game use, built to push performance, comfort, and reliability beyond my previous designs.
🧠 The Story Behind the Design
This model is not just an update — it’s a complete redesign of my earlier speedsoft grip concepts.
After receiving feedback from players and using the older versions extensively in training and competitive matches, I decided to start fresh.
The goal was clear:
Improve ergonomics
Reduce unnecessary bulk
Enhance grip feel and control
Create a cleaner look
Every surface, angle, and dimension was reworked from scratch. The final result is a new generation grip with a modern aesthetic and functional improvements that you can feel immediately when shouldering the replica.
🧪 Tested for 6+ Months
Before releasing this design, the grip was tested for over 6 months in real speedsoft conditions:
Competitive matches
Training sessions
Repeated tank mounting and removal
Long play days and high-stress use
This testing phase allowed me to refine tolerances, improve durability, and ensure consistent performance over time. What you download is a field-proven design, not a prototype.
✋ Ergonomics & Handling
Ergonomics were a top priority:
Comfortable grip thickness for fast transitions
Optimized shape for control during snap shooting and movement
Balanced feel with HPA tank setups
The grip is designed to reduce hand fatigue while maintaining maximum control — ideal for speedsoft players who demand precision and speed.
🧩 Parts Needed
1× 1/8 NPT → 6mm push-in coupler
3× 6×1.5 mm magnets (for snap-on back cap)
🔧 Installation Guide
Installation is simple and familiar if you’ve used tank grips before:
Remove your current grip (same process as a standard tank grip)
Cut the 6mm engine hose to your desired length
Insert the magnets into the grip body and the back cap
Insert the regulator into the grip
Attach everything — and you’re ready to play
That’s it.
⚠️ Notes
Designed for speedsoft HPA setups using V2 Gearboxes
Recommended to print in strong materials (PLA+ /PLA CF/ PETG /PETG CF/ ABS / Nylon)
All tests have been done in normal PLA, therefore the above options will give you a strong grip.
Proper print orientation and wall thickness are important for durability
