Please consider downloading this design from the following link, as it helps me get the occasional free spool of filament ๐

UPDATE There is now a 4th style of flight shelf in this bundle. I made a "Meteor shelf" for Terrax that comes in 2 files: the meteor base that he stands on, with a hole for the second part, which is a "swoop" that can be printed separately in clear PLA so it looks like the meteor is flying.***
These files are a diorama I made for Marvel United to display Galactus and his heralds in an Omni Modular Display Case. The files include a planetoid for Galactus to stand on, with a cutout for his hexagonal base, and 3 styles of "flight shelf" for the heralds.
The asteroid base replaces the acrylic window in the bottom of a 3-piece wide (2 corners and one spacer between) 5 depth unit Omni Modular Display Case. This is a TIGHT fit, and different filaments swell different amounts when printed, so you might want to do a test print at a high layer height before making your final version (I used Elegoo black PLA printed at 0.08mm layer height). If your print doesn't fit, try sanding the offending bits first. If that doesn't work, consider reducing or increasing the size as needed by 1%.
The flight shelves hold a standard MU base. The "swoop" has a plug that fits in a slot in the bezel of an Omni (acrylic shelf size) to display the heralds in flight. There are 3 variants:
*Plain: with just a base and 3mm swoop that fits in the back bezel (looks great in clear PLA)
*Flames: the plain base but with a flame motif on the base and the swoop (I printed this in clear orange PLA)
*A plain base that fits in the front bezel of the Omni
Please note that the planetoid is just a remix of the Asteroid/Comet stl designed by Deltax (available on this site), and the flames I used for the flight shelf were remixed from the Flame Skull stl by np-dev, also available on this site. I do not own these stls, but both allow sharing with attribution, so I hope this is OK!
Also, PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE NO OMNI FILES OR FILES REMIXED FROM OMNI FILES IN THIS BUNDLE. Some things should go without saying, but we live in a world where lawyers exist, so let me be clear, I don't own the Omni Modular Display Case concept, files, or license. That's why I'm releasing these files for free (well, that and I don't think I'm good enough at this stuff yet to charge for my work). If someone from Omni/Fantasy Designs wants to steal these and make them better and release them to the Kickstarter backers, I think that would be amazing and give full permission to do so. Alternately, if someone with more talent than I wishes to play around with these and make them look better/work better/do anything better, I welcome it and give permission to do so.
