Genshin Impact - Raiden Shogun Katana

This model is cut into 12 parts to fit in my Ender 3.
Platform size around 200mm x 200mm x200mm.

A full size .stl file also include if you wish to cut it yourself. It is cut into pieces that have flat surface and minimal hanging parts so the use of support can be avoid during the printing surface. However, I will suggest using brim to avoid warping during printing process.

All the pieces can escape the use of support except part (ii), around the Tsuba and the Electro logo.

For scaling, you can easily scale it in slicer software of your choice. But remember to scale with the same factor across all the parts.

For the blade part, I do add a threshold of 1mm at the edge to give you easier post processing work.

After print out, glue all the parts together. It is suggest to add in some skeleton between the connection if you with to make it tougher. This can be done by drilling small hole between the connecting pieces. Then insert wooden or iron rod bridging the two hole. Please take note that if you wish to add skeleton, please print with at least 10% infill, to have a stronger housing for the rod.

I did include a picture in the preview section, labelling all the parts with their file name. Hope this can help you find the parts you need easily.

6th February 2023
1. Model re-design with more accurate details.
2. Tunnels with a 10mm diameter are punched on the model for alignment and bone installation purposes.
3. Thickness of the blade is reduced to 14mm.
4. Model is cut in a slanted position to minimize the use of support and avoid support apply to the tunnel.
5. V1 is compressed into a zip file and included in the listing.
6. "Peg" file, a cylinder with 9.5mm diameter is included just in case you need it.
*Since the overall thickness is reduced, I decided not to further slice it in half as the tunnel will be very close to the surface. If you want to slice it into half for easier printing, you can use netfabb.
