F-16 Cockpit Sunglare Shield Cover

1:1 Replica of the Center Instruments Panel Sun Glare Shield, left and right sides. It deviates from the original in size, so it does not surround the entire HUD. I designed it for simulation purposes, so it does not have to be that size.

You get:

• 2 Sunglare shield models for left and right side
• 1 modified sunglare shield right to accomodate the DED I separately offer
• 1 model of a support bracket

You need:

• 3D printer
• 6x M3 x 20 mm socket screws

The shields are designed to complement my instrument panels. The instrument panels are drilled for M3 brass inserts. The shields feature highlighted screw angles to align and secure them to the instrument panel. Additionally, there is a support bracket for stabilization. Print two of them and attach them to the shields, then attach the other side to the HUD unit for additional stability.

The shield has pre-drilled holes for M3 countersunk screws to accommodate my Eyebrow Panels. You may counterbore drill holes to get a more even fit of screws.

I designed the shields so that no supports are needed for printing.

I printed them vertically and used a raft for a better print bed adhesion. (see picture in the description)
