In 2026 our team voted to follow six themes. Sci-fi was one of the six, and the broad nature of the theme has been a blessing to our staff. Each month, we tap into the dreams of our fans and artists to create a vision of things yet to come.

Space, Apocalypse, Alien Worlds and Hellish Nightmares are all friends and frequently visited in the Sci-fi theme. Junk Planet is at core of the theme, and with this latest update bringing OpenLOCK options, we keep our promise to make great Sci-fi terrain alive. Thank you to all the fans of this series.

Junk Planet by Aether Studios' Colin Christenson is the new line from our design team. Build the junkyard of your dreams or a salvage pit full of encounters. Included in this set you'll find 50 .stl files for 3d printing up a wide variety of junk options!

3D printing settings

RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS

Layer Size: 0.15mm recommended, 0.1mm for smoother features.
Infill: 10% for all models recommended. Less infill is possible, but models will be less sturdy.
Top/Bottom Layers: 6 (or 0.9mm if using a different layer size than 0.15mm)
Side Shell Count: 2 (or 0.8mm if using a different nozzle size than 0.4mm)
Raft/Brim/Supports: Brim may be helpful with scatter items.
