The SHARKY EDF 40/50mm is a 3D-printed beginner trainer with excellent gliding characteristics. With a wingspan of 1120 mm, a length of 920 mm, and a weight of 540 g (without LiPo), it offers up to 15 minutes of flight time. Perfect for beginners and relaxed flying. You have two alternative tail units! Starting from 2025-06-09, Fuselage 3 and 4 will be available for a 50mm EDF (FMS/QX50). 3D printing settings

  • LW-PLA Parts: Print all LW-PLA parts (winglets and canards) with 5% infill for winglets and canards, 3% gyroid infill for other parts. Use 1 wall, 2 bottom layers, and 4 top layers.

  • PLA/PETG/ASA/ABS (CF): Use materials of your choice. My recommendation is at least 2 wall lines, 15-25% grid infill, and more for landing gear components.

  • TPU Tires: Print tires with 2 walls and 12-15% gyroid infill.
