Servo-Ready Jetstream Sam Styled Articulated Mask

This is a servo-ready version of the non-powered Jetstream Sam articulated mask.

Uses 300grams of filament at 10% infill full size

You can use the parts and methods I used to make the mask work or create your own. Either way, the hinge design on this version allows you to do so. (I designed it to use the servos in the parts list below but you don't have to use them.)

One AAA battery

If the mask is underpowered using just the AAA battery you can use a 9v battery and follow the same wiring directions (Case holder listed below).

One AAA batteries or one 9v battery

Since everyone has a different size and shaped head you will need to scale the model up or down to fit you best. As a result, the electronics had to be separated from the rest of the parts, so I put them in cases that you will need to affix to the mask and hinges using epoxy or regular super glue.

All of the larger parts can be printed at .3mm layer height and at least 20% infill.

The hinges, battery cases and caps, servo case, and servo rotor cap should be .1mm layer height for strength and detail and 100% infill.
THE BATTERY CASES AND CAPS, SERVO CASES, AND CAPS SHOULD NOT BE SCALED.

You can orient the parts depending on how fast you need to print them and the strength of the print.

If the jaw mounts aren't snug enough I made a slot above the ear for an elastic band to cross the top of the head to secure it that way.

I used my head as a reference to check the fit so you will need to scale every part up or down to fit yours.

How to measure: check ear-to-ear distance with the calipers provided and plug the measurement into this proportion:

(x = the scale you will need)

6.5/100=(your measurement)/x
or
6.5x=(your measurement) x 100

When you put the mask on you should do it one half at a time.
