Joycon Mobilephone Holder Retractable Version

The Kit is design like a DIY toy, each part can be easily print/reprinted and assemble together like a toy. Developed from my interests in learning to fix stuffs over the years. I developed this to allow me to play Steam Link on my Phone to help clear some of my games backlogs. I redesigned and simplify the number of parts for this Mobile phone version.

This kit work with a simple elastic band and hold together with 1 screw(M4 Screw Nut), both are things you can easily procure at your neighborhood hardware store.I tested this on my Galaxy S9(which is around the standard size of 6.2" phone these days) but it's should be able to take up some of the larger phone as well.

Update 10/09/2025

• Update the Joycon Rail again, the old rail design was too loose with newer 3D printers. I redid the measurement for the rails(working on a Creality K1 now, instead of Ender 3 Pro). You can now print on 0.2 line height instead of 0.3 line height.

UPDATE(22/03/2024)

• Optimize the STL file, improved the design of the Joycon rails part for better holding power.
• Increased the depth of the device holder part by 3mm to accommodate device with thicker cases.
• Slim down the sides to allow for use of L-Shape USB cable, allowing charging while playing.
