3D model description

3D print to make a Commodore 64 GS replica.

You will need a slightly modified C64C motherboard, watch the video and article to find out how.

If you want to print the product from PcbWay, use the V.16 zip file. The hinge for the door has been increased and the files are divided by components.

The graphics to print are in the zip file.

The print is not perfect or identical to the original case, but it is functional and will allow you to experience the feeling of having a 64GS in your hands without spending a lot of money.

3D printing settings

If your printer does not have the appropriate size to print the entire case, you will find the file divided into two parts.
Files containing all objects can be split and printed piece by piece with PrusaSlicer or other editors that can split the parts of the drawing.

If you create the print divided into two pieces, the C64GS_strengthening _joint file may be useful, which is used to glue the part under the seam to give more strength.

To attach the door I used these pieces:

To print the entire case I relied on PcbWay's 3D printing service.
