So, it sounds like you are not printing it yet, you are still preparing to print.

I don't know what software you are using for preparation, but (in this instance) you typically have to make sure you have the object you want to support selected or focused before generating supports.

I did print mine with resin, but several others have reported printing with filament and were pleased with the outcome.

May want to hop on YouTube and do a quick search for your software's name and generate supports and make sure you didn't skip a step! 👌

ill see if I can, but the thing is i have the generate supports on, maybe I need to set it to touching build plate idk, thank you for responding most creators don't, so thank you also i am using "ultimate cura slicer" so maybe it needs and update

well i definitely scaled it down too far. trying again. resin printer btw. lycheeslicer says theres holes in the model though repairing it doesnt seem to change anything.

I used Lychee for this and had the same red indicator (I saw no adverse effect). As far as explosions, I have not experienced any explosive resin... I use PLA-like.

Another person suggested finding a small rechargable fog machine to put inside and make "smoke".

Check scale during the preparation.
Lychee shows a banana and soda can for scale. 👌

Try doing what you would do for anything else. 🦾

1. Whatever you want.
2. Depends on your setup, probably fine.
3. The screen is for reference anyway, not to actually use since it would melt. Use the disc for a reference for metal screen.
4. Fix it. Many others and I had no issues as-is.
5. I use Lychee, it's just no fuss and works for any printer (including DIY).
6. Check scale while preparing to print, do what you like.

Sorry for the delay, I did look at the image and I'm not certain why that's happening.

I suspect it might a setting you have, as others have printed with FDM. I forget the software, but maybe you can try loading your sliced file I to something like gcode.ws (also available offline if you download it)? It should show you any possible issues before you print and might help if you change a setting and run this "virtual" print so you aren't wasting time and filament.

I have only printed this in resin and my FDM is current out of commission. 😅

I printed one to then use to shape a small wire mesh from a discount store sifter. 👌
