3D model description

Vintage aero wheel for WW1 airplanes. Wheel is printed to 1/5th scale but can be adjusted. Wheel hub is sized for 1/4" o.d. K & S brass tube. To assemble wheel, insert tube in rear half, apply cyano to surface of front half (keeping away from the centre) and lower onto rear half over tube. Make sure to line up the valve in the "fabric" cutout.

Original wheel (as photographs) used 16mm diameter neoprene cord for tyres. This is ok for a hard runway and grass. Alternative files are included with either a separate or built in printed tyre. These would only be suitable for grass runways.

Print with minimum 20% infill for strength.
